WOW! Here we are in a new year and a new decade! The decade just ended was, if nothing else, eventul. So was 2009. In 2009, Marina House and Condo sales totaled 71 units. This is up from only 46 in 2008, an increase of 65%! While prices were down, we saw definate signs that we passed "the bottom" sometime around mid-year. Prices now have stabilized and may be heading upward. Burnt Store Marina continues to be viewed as a great place to live, better than ever. And our town of Punta Gorda is vibrant. During the year, many new facilities and attractions opened and are drawing visitors. Yet Punta Gorda retains it's small-town charm. For me, 2009 was a great year. Not only was business good, but I had the opportunity to meet and serve some outstanding folks. For some, it was helping them sell their properties and move to their next life-stage. For others it was introducing them to our outstanding communities and all that we have to offer....and helping them find their Florida home. I look forward to more of the same in 2010.
